The Ireland Canada University Foundation,
founded in 1994 by the late Dr.Craig Dobbin from Newfoundland
and Dr. Patrick Hillery, former President of Ireland, has a programme
to assist young Canadian scholars to make short term
visits to a university or institution in Ireland in order to
support their research in a topic that relates to both countries.
The Foundation is generously sponsored by
Short Term Visiting Scholarships 2007
Scholarships are funded at $ 7,000 each
