Position: Project Coordinator (Buy Local Technical Assistance and Research)

Contract position from: August 1, 2006 to January 31, 2007

35 hours per week at $15.00 per hour plus 4% vacation pay plus mandatory employee benefits (e.g. E.I).

Description of the Position:

OCEDN, in cooperation with Just Food Ottawa, is seeking a young graduate wishing to further a career in community economic development and the social economy. Through funding provided by the Canadian CED Network’s Create Action Program, the Project Coordinator (Buy Local Technical Assistance and Research) will work on several initiatives interwoven into the Ottawa CED Network’s technical assistance program with a particular focus on a larger “Buy Local Food” strategy led by Just Food Ottawa.
