Academic Exchange to Mexico
Would you like to learn more about civil society in Mexico? Are you interested in studying abroad for a semester?
This exchange to Mexico is an incredible opportunity to gain practical insight in your degree, experience a different culture, travel and receive a $3,500 stipend. Selected applicants would study civil society and conduct a directed case study on a local civil society organization in Mexico City, earn credits towards their degree and potentially have their case study published.
This program has been designed to train future leaders in civil society and can help raise the profile of civil society research. This opportunity will also enhance a student’s educational experience while at the same time bestowing an incredible cultural opportunity.
This exchange will take place for the January 2008 to May 2008 semester at:
University El Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Ciudad de México www.itesm.mx
Minimum application requirements include:
1. Applicant must be a graduate, or upper division undergraduate(3rd or 4th year).
2. Applicant must have intermediate level ability in the Spanish language.
3. Applicant must be registered as a full time Carleton University Student.
4. Minimum Grade Point Average: 8.0 (Grade B or higher)
